At 11.00 am you are invited to our divine service.

Our Name:

The name Seventh-day Adventist includes vital beliefs for us as a Church. ‘Adventist’ reflects our belief in the soon return (‘advent’) of Jesus.

‘Seventh-day’ refers to the Sabbath, which from Creation has been the seventh day of the week, a day for rest and worship. The Sabbath is on Saturday.

Our Vision:

“Our aim is to be a present and proclaiming community whose beliefs focuses on the creator God and His word.”

Belief in God and His word.

Central to our community is our belief in a creating and saving God, who desires a personal relationship with each individual. The foundation of our belief is the Bible and its story of salvation and promise of a new beginning which includes peace and freedom in a relationship with God. We have a desire to share this joy of salvation with others.

Love, grace and mercy:

We believe that God meets us with love, mercy and grace. That is why we want to be a community where all can experience love, appreciation and forgiveness and get a glimpse of the kingdom of God

Spaciousness, tolerance and openness

We believe that God created mankind in a diversity of individuals. As we are different and often affected by life’s many challenges and insufficient conditions, we wish to be a tolerant community which provides space and security for all.

Presence

We believe God is relevant for all and desires a personal relationship with every single human being. In a life where many are busy and pushed to the extreme by a constant stream of information, contacts, networks and entertainment, presence is something we choose. Through the church’s activities we want to actively create space for presence and contemplation, throughout the week as well as the day of rest God has given.
